Here's a dive in to the happenings of the past week.

#weeknotes

This week has been a bit of an ebb and flow, like the sea—gentle highs and lows, each moment bringing something new.

I’ve decided to make my Weeknotes shorter moving forward. It’s been cathartic to write in long form, and I’m grateful for everyone who’s taken the time to read the detailed version.

It feels like it’s time to lighten many facets of life now, and that includes this little practice of reflection.

Would love your thoughts

Stefan

Wins & Highlights:

  • Mentorship Moment: I was really touched by Angela McClelland’s introduction of me to the digital marketing group I mentored for a day. We’ve known each other for over 10 years, and hearing her glowing words about my work made me feel 10 feet taller. It’s a reminder of how important advocates are in our lives—both professionally and personally. We all need people who truly believe in us.

  • Leadership Coaching: The coaching session with a leader in the end-of-life care sector was incredibly uplifting. She’s already made amazing changes in her organisation, and it was inspiring to see her vision in action. It’s moments like these that make the work feel so impactful.

  • Proud Coach Moment: One of my coaching clients made a huge announcement this week—they’ve landed a new appointment! It’s a big step for them, and I’m so proud to have been part of their preparation process. It’s a real honour to watch their journey unfold.

Setbacks & Challenges:

  • Overdoing It: I definitely pushed myself a bit too hard this week with my training. I’m feeling it now—physically exhausted by the end of the week. A reminder to pace myself better next week.

  • Programme Endings: A couple of my coaching programmes wrapped up this week, and I’m still working on filling those spaces. There’s a lot on my plate, but I’m staying focused and trusting that things will fall into place.

New Insights:

  • I’ve realised that I’m getting better at accepting love as well as giving it. This has been a big personal shift for me, and it’s honestly recharging me in ways I didn’t expect. It’s a good reminder that we all need to nurture ourselves, not just others.

What’s on My Plate:

  • Bathroom Makeover: Starting Tuesday, the bathroom makeover begins! It’s part of my larger project of getting my flat ready for moving. Feels like a big step in creating the space I want to live in.

  • Packing the Boat Gallery: I’ll also be working on packing up the little boat art gallery. It’s bittersweet, but I’m holding onto the life I’m building and finding strength in the process.

Quote of the Week

The path isn’t always clear, and the road can be rocky, but every step you take is part of a larger story unfolding. Trusting in the journey means embracing both the triumphs and the challenges, knowing that each moment is shaping who you’re becoming. It’s not about the destination—it’s about the growth, lessons, and resilience you gain along the way. When you trust the journey, you let go of the need for control and allow space for unexpected opportunities and lessons to show up. It’s about trusting that you are exactly where you need to be, even when things feel uncertain. Trust yourself. Trust the process. Trust the unfolding.
